EXPERIENCE
WatchCases.com
Office Manager
October 9 to Present
WatchCases.com is an online store specializing in high-end watch cases and watch winders. I am responsible for day to day operations, including Website content and marketing efforts. I have made over $100,000 in telephone sales and started a monthly email campaign that has generated over $20,000 in revenue. I have added numerous product photographs to the site, one of which also appeared in a publication by Esquire.
U.S. Census Bureau
Crew Leader
April 12 to August 20
As a Crew Leader for the 2010 Census, I was responsible for training and supervising crews of up to 15 employees, including 2 Crew Leader Assistants. I conducted training classes during which I administered the oath of office, fingerprinted the trainees, and instructed them on Census bureau procedures for collecting accurate data and protecting confidentiality. I assigned duty areas, observed employees in the field, and provided assistance and supervision. I met daily with my crew to collect and certify their finished work and payroll forms.
Website Portfolio
In my spare time, I am learning Website design. I feel a Web presence is vital to any marketing campaign. A few examples follow.
CaveFurniture.com
- I created this site to test a marketing principle I invented where users are encouraged to view additional products in order to earn a discount.
VictoriaPouncey.com
- Individuals need to market themselves too, and a personal home page is a great way to do that. I created this site for a client back in 2009.
EasyWrist.com
- A site I created as part of a marketing effort for WatchCases.com. We hope to generate more traffic by offering related products.
